How we make money

HoustonBest is published by Formula 9501 LLC. We want you to know exactly who we are and who we work with, so you can weigh what we say.

Companies we have a relationship with

The owner of Formula 9501 LLC also owns or advises these companies. When a page mentions one of them, it says so next to the mention.

• Credit Saint, Bolster and Credit Squad (credit repair, credit-building and credit monitoring)
• BestGuide, Attorney Review, Advisory Reviews and Best Class Actions (review and referral sites)
• Law firms the owner consults for, which may receive referrals from our pages

What this means for our lists

No business pays to be on a best-of list, and none can pay to move up. Local business lists (restaurants, plumbers, mechanics) don't include any company we have a relationship with.

We may earn money from ads, from affiliate links (we label them), and when a reader chooses to contact a company we work with.
